Overview
Orooba Fabrics partners with vetted logistics providers ensuring secure, timely, and traceable delivery for bulk fabric consignments. This policy explains order processing, dispatch timelines, packaging standards, freight responsibilities, and logistics exception handling. We prioritize predictable delivery windows and transparent freight practices supporting manufacturing schedules and retail replenishment planning.
Processing times and lead times
Order processing commences following order confirmation and required deposit or advance payment receipt. Lead times vary by fabric type, order complexity, and current production schedules. Standard dispatch windows range from 7 to 21 business days for stocked items; customized fabrics, block prints, or large finishing orders
require extended timelines. Quotations provide realistic lead-time estimates helping buyers plan production runs effectively.
Packaging and handling
Fabric rolls and bundles use industry-standard moisture-resistant and abrasion-proof materials. Rolls are banded, labeled with SKU and batch information, and palletized for bulk shipments where applicable. Specialty finished items, embroidered fabrics, or delicate materials receive additional internal protection preventing creasing or surface damage during transit.
Shipping, freight responsibilities, and tracking
Unless otherwise agreed, buyers assume shipping charges and applicable duties, taxes, or local clearance fees. We offer multiple freight options—courier, surface transport, and full-truckload—based on order magnitude and destination. Tracking references are shared upon carrier handover; our logistics team assists with carrier follow- up addressing exceptional delays.
Partial shipments and split consignments
Large orders sometimes dispatch through multiple consignments expediting partial receipt and reducing warehouse congestion. Each shipment includes independent tracking and accompanying documentation. Buyers should coordinate local receiving capacity and warehousing accommodating staggered arrivals.
Exceptions, claims, and delivery discrepancies
Transit damage or short-supply suspicion requires buyer notification within 48 hours of receipt with supporting evidence. We collaborate with carriers and buyers investigating and resolving claims. External delay events— strikes, force majeure, customs holds—are managed through proactive communication and collaborative remediation planning.
